Tamiya Polycarbonate Body Cleaner (87118) is a simple but incredibly effective way to get your Lexan body shells perfectly clean before painting. Instead of washing with soap and waiting for everything to dry, you just wipe the cleaner on with a cloth and the surface is ready almost immediately.

It removes grease, fingerprints, dust, overspray and even old, cured paint without damaging the polycarbonate. The formula also helps reduce static, so you avoid dust settling on the body while you’re working.

Whether you’re prepping a brand-new shell, fixing a paint mistake or cleaning up after a run, this little 40 ml bottle makes the whole process easier and gives you a cleaner, smoother result.

A quick wipe, no residue, no stress — just a perfectly prepared surface ready for your next paint job.
