Tamiya Scania 770 S 4×21/14 truck

This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Scania 770 S 4×2, a two-axle, high-roof heavy trailer head equipped with a 16.4-liter V8 turbo engine capable of 770hp, added in 2020 to the Swedish manufacturer Scania’s top-grade S Series. The high-roof form is faithfully captured in style with roof high bar and LED light bar, horns, nameboard, drop visor, bullbar, low bar and side bars, letting you create a customized truck like those trendy in Europe. Its ladder frame features aluminum side channels with resin cross members, and power from the front-mounted motor is delivered to the rear axle via a 3-speed transmission and propeller shaft – gear changes are enabled with the use of a separately available 4-channel transmitter. Pair this model with a separately sold Multi-Function Control unit for coordinated lights, sounds and more!

About the model

• A highly detailed recreation of the majestic Scania 770 S 4×2!
• Molded plastic bull bar, which is made up of ABS-PC frame and ABS mesh components.
• 2-section side mirrors are affixed on moving plastic mounts. Kerb mirrors are also recreated.
• The roof bar is equipped with a light bar and a nameboard with a choice of 4 decorative stickers.
• The antenna and metal plated horns add extra detail to the roof.
• Metal plated steps have accurate grip patterns. Headlights and fog lamps have reflectors for use with separately sold LEDs.
• Enjoy gear changes with the model’s three-speed transmission.
• The rear suspension uses a reinforced resin axle and metal leaf springs.
• Dual tires are used at the rear, and of course feature realistic tread.
• A coupler is included to allow connection of semi trailers from the extensive Tamiya line-up.
• Fuel tanks are recreated with accuracy, and side skirt marker lamps can be lit up with separately sold LEDs.
• Rear lights are compatible with separately sold LEDs for brake and reverse lights, plus turn signals.
• The separately sold Multi-Function Control unit’s control box can be stowed neatly inside the exhaust box/fuel tank.
• A driver figure is included, as is a stickered representation of the Scania griffin.
