This is a bottle of after-run oil suitable for all internal combustion engines (mostly run on methanol/nitro based fuels).
The oil also works good as an engine assemble oil.
Directions:
- After a day of running the engine – empty the fuel tank of most of it’s fuel. Leave enough fuel for the engine to be able to run a couple of minutes at idle speed.
- Start the engine, let it idle and reach working temp and let it idle until the remaining fuel in the tank is empty, as in the engine stops by itself.
- Try starting the engine again until you are sure that there is no more fuel in the tank/fuel lines or the engine itself.
- Remove the glow plug and remove any air filter system.
- Add a few drops of OptiFuel after-run oil through the glow plug hole and the carburettor opening.
- Spin the engine carefully/slowly a few times to spread the oil inside the engine and bearings.
- Inspect the glow plug and check it’s condition – replace if needed.
- Re-install the glow plug.
- If your engine has an air filter system (car engines) – clean it and/or replace it. If it’s a “wet oil” filter – re-apply the foam with a special air filter oil.
- Re-install the air filter.
