This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Scania 770 S 6×4, a double rear-axle drive trailer head equipped with a 16.4-liter V8 diesel turbo engine capable of 770hp added in 2020 to the Swedish manufacturer Scania’s top-grade S Series. The kit features a highly realistic body, plus a working chassis with numerous metal parts, and a transmission that can be operated via transmitter.

Pre-Painted Body

Cab, roof, spoiler, bumpers, side guards, front fenders and more have been painted in a stunning silver tone and given a clear topcoat. With that job off of the table, assemble the parts, brush paint areas such as window frames, and the body will be ready to put on your model.

About the model

• The body has a silver paint job with clear top coat applied.
• Take a look at the front grille with low bar and metal transfer emblem.
• 2-part side mirrors and kerb mirror add extra detail to the model, and use metal-plated parts for mirror surfaces.
• The roof features separate parts for the hatch and antenna, plus a roof bar with light pods.
• Matte plated parts are used for the non-slip steps.
• The model’s three-speed transmission allows shifting while the model is on the move, for a truly immersive experience.
• Axles are molded in reinforced plastic and supported by metal leaf springs, in a trunnion suspension like that seen on the real truck.
• Double-tire rear wheels are employed to take care of the model’s drive. They are given an eye-catching chrome finish.
• A coupler is installed on the back of the head to allow connection with one of the trailers in Tamiya’s extensive line-up.
• Side skirts are also pre-painted in silver. The V8 emblem is recreated by a metal transfer.
• Rear combination lights and fenders are depicted with realism. The various lights can be illuminated with separately-sold LEDs.
• The side skirt can be opened and a separately sold MFC unit installed.
