Meet the Champ

Rallying fans across the world enjoyed the exploits of the Celica GT-Four in 1990, as it won five times in global rally races on the way to a first Drivers’ title for a Japanese car. This R/C model assembly kit recreates that car in 1/10 scale, with a polycarbonate body capturing the streamlined form, and stickers included to capture not just various sponsor logos but even the red sections of the eye-catching livery.

Adaptable TT-02 Chassis offers balanced shaft driven 4WD

The shaft driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to offer excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings (the higher position is used with the Lancia Delta Integrale) and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports.

White dish wheels use racing radial tires.

About the model

• The streamlined silhouette of the car won great acclaim and is realistically captured by the model.
• There is plenty to admire at the front, with flat depictions of the headlights and grille.
• At the rear the eye is drawn to the prominent spoiler. Stickers recreate taillights and license plate.
• White dish wheels are paired with treaded semi-pneumatic racing radial tires for great grip.
• Resin ball links in the steering linkage joints make for smooth, comfortable motion.
• Wheel hubs are shaped to look like brake discs.
• Motor cover includes removable cooling duct (not attached in image).
